About RetireMath

RetireMath started as a personal tool — I wanted a simple, honest way to model my own retirement numbers without sifting through bloated financial calculators or giving away my data to a brokerage. Everything here is run entirely in your browser; nothing you enter is ever stored or sent anywhere.

The assumptions baked in (IRS limits, tax brackets, PVGA math) reflect my own situation and the questions I was trying to answer. That means there are almost certainly things that don't fit your circumstances — account types you use that aren't modeled, edge cases in the tax math, or projections that feel off for your life stage.

If you spot something like that, or you have a feature that would make this genuinely more useful for you, I'd love to hear it. I can't promise a timeline, but I read every message and the ones that resonate with my own blind spots tend to make it in.
